In a client’s own words
Faris Attieh
Faris moved to Los Angeles in 2018 wanting to make games, with no experience in them and nobody in the industry to call. He worked his own phone book, ended every conversation by asking who else he should speak to, and chained his way in until a mentor took the idea seriously. A friend talked him out of spending ten years learning the craft himself and into hiring people who already had it. He now runs the studio and splits his week between the creative work and the business of it.

Corporate to ownership
The hardest version of this work is not choosing a different employer. It is deciding to stop having one. That transition has its own sequence: testing the idea while the salary is still arriving, working out what you are actually good at inside a business you would run, and building a plan that survives the month the income changes shape. It is a route this practice has walked with clients rather than a service line invented for a page.
Moves clients have made
Named by the role rather than by the person. These are private transitions, and the job someone left is the part that tells you whether yours looks like theirs.
