Your Pathfinder
Ten questions, one at a time
Each question shows you an example answer. There are no wrong answers, only vague ones. If yours is too general, we'll ask a follow-up or two, then work with what you have. Your report will say where it had too little to go on.

Built on Eli's coaching method
Eli's coaching clients work through deep exercises over four focused sessions, usually more than ten hours of reflection, before their career strategy is written. The Pathfinder asks the ten questions at the heart of that work, so you can do that core work on your own. It's built on 11 years of coaching and 7,000+ people supported through career transitions. You get the core of that coaching work, on your own schedule.
Four ways to choose your next move
Guess, or ask around
What it takes: Nothing up front.
What you get: A choice from the options you already know about. A wrong guess can cost you months.
Ask ChatGPT
What it takes: A few minutes, free or close to it.
What you get: Fast answers, as good as what you know to ask it and what you think to tell it about yourself.
The Pathfinder
What it takes: About thirty minutes of your thinking. Free to start, $397 for the full report.

Coaching with Eli
What it takes: Four focused sessions, usually more than ten hours of reflection. Price on a complimentary call.
What you get: The same method, worked through with Eli in person, and a career strategy written for you.

What's in the report
Free: a profile of what you bring, and your first 3 career paths, with what each pays and what might stand in your way. The full report adds:
7 more career paths
Written out like your free ones: what the work is, what it pays and what might stand in your way. Every path, your free ones included, also gets an estimate of how much of the work AI can now take on and how much still needs a person, so you can compare every path before you commit to one. Save the ones that pull at you to your shortlist, and the industries and organizations that fit them come first.
What each role pays where you live
Every path, your free ones included, is priced from current job postings near you that state pay, and from what employers filed to pay for the same title with the U.S. Department of Labor. The full report adds salary sites, the government wage survey fills in where those are thin, and you'll see how much to trust each figure. You'll know whether a move meets your number before you apply.
3 industries that fit you
Why each one suits you, and the one thing worth knowing before you go after it.
30 real organizations to approach
In each of your industries, the strongest are checked for signs of hiring or growth, with a link to the proof. The rest are for you to research. Your search starts with names, not a blank search bar.
Which roles fit which industries
One row per path, so you can see where each leads.
5 ready-to-use job search phrases
Paste them into LinkedIn or Indeed, including titles you might not have thought to search.
Three videos and a workbook
Three thorough, focused videos with the tools and strategies to optimize your job search: how to read your report, how to research these paths, and how to use the workbook. A fillable workbook for your personal brand and networking. Everything you need to turn the report into a search you can act on, plus a link to Eli's free interview guide for when you get there.
See a real report first
Two fictional people, two real reports. Eli walks through Jordan's, step by step.
Morgan. A tenured professional moving from 14 years of agency communications and program leadership into a senior in-house role.
Jordan. A young professional moving from five years in retail and travel service into a tech startup.
What it is not
worth knowing before you buy
- It's generated, not written by a person. That's why it asks for your thinking first. Eli designed the questions it reasons from and checks how it reasons, but nobody reads your report before you do.
- It isn't a personality test like StrengthsFinder or DISC. It's an introspective assessment built from your own examples, values and interests, in your own words. That's why everything in your report is specific to you: the roles you'd actually get energy from, and the organizations you'd actually care to work for.
- It reasons from what you tell us, so take your time with the questions. This is your chance to really dig into what makes you tick, and the more thorough you are, the more your report has to work with. If an answer is thin, the report tells you where it had too little to go on.
- It can't tell you what an employer will decide. What it can do is show you what stands between you and each path, whether that's a credential, something you haven't shown yet, or the pay, and where that judgment comes from, so you know exactly what to work on next.
- It gives you the roadmap: where to go, and which organizations are worth approaching. From there, it's up to you to take that research, find the people there and start real conversations through networking and outreach. That's where you'll learn what the work is really like and what the culture feels like inside those organizations, things you won't find through an online search alone. You won't be doing it on your own: the full report comes with a video on how to do that research and outreach, and the workbook gives you prompts and outlines for those meetings, down to what to say.
- It uses United States labor-market sources, so for now it's built for a United States job search. We're actively working on making it useful for international job searches too.

Questions people ask first
- Can't I just do this with AI?
- You'll use AI either way. The Pathfinder gives it something specific to work with. Most people don't know what to ask it, so they get generic answers. The report works out which roles, pay and organizations fit your experience, and the workbook and templates turn that into the prompts and steps your AI tools need. A search that feels overwhelming becomes a step-by-step one.
- How long does it take?
- Give the ten questions about thirty minutes. The more specific your answers, the sharper your report, and it's written while you wait. Working through it is ongoing: we recommend 30 to 60 minutes a day on weekdays with the report, the videos and the workbook. Steady, daily use is how the report becomes a search, not a file you read once.
- What happens to what I write?
- It's stored so your report can be built from it, and sent to Anthropic, the provider that generates the report, under terms that exclude it from training their models. If you attach a resume we read the text out and delete the file. You can delete everything at any time.
- What if the report is wrong about me?
- Before anything is written you see what we understood from your answers, with anything we filled in for you marked, and you can correct any of it. That screen is the single biggest thing you can do to make the report good.
- What if the report can't be produced?
- If we can't produce your report, you're refunded automatically within one business day and you keep any part that was finished. We don't promise what the report will do for your search. Nobody honestly can.
If you'd rather talk to someone
The full coaching program is a different thing, and for some people it's the right one. A complimentary call is how to find out whether you need coaching, the Pathfinder, or neither.
